    Position Summary:
    Ubuntu Pathways community clinic serves the township communities near Zwide. Patients receive comprehensive and preventative primary care – including HIV care and treatment; TB prevention, diagnosis and treatment; and nutritional services. The clinical team comprises of nurses, a pharmacist, case workers and administrative staff. Ubuntu is looking for a part-time doctor to provide anywhere from 4-12 hours a week of support.

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse who values person centred care at our Retirement Village in Kimberley, to take responsibility, for the physical assessments and the design of nursing care plans in terms of nursing needs as well as making nursing diagnosis and, within legal constraints, treatment of illnesses.


Must have experience in gerontology/geriatrics and the ageing process; nursing care plans; writing progress reports; nursing assessments for the aged including the physically and/or mentally frail. The incumbent should have a person centred approach or holistic approach to care.
Must be competent in the following:- nursing assessments and the design of nursing care plans to enable the co-ordination of activities of daily living in terms of care needs; scheduling activities and resources and delivering services to residents; diagnosis and (within legal constraints) treatment of illnesses; medication management and control.
Must be positive and pro-active in caring for the aged and dedicated and committed to identifying needs and providing nursing care. The incumbent will need to be observant and enthusiastic but will also need to be patient and empathetic and have an understanding of client limitations.

The CLO Associate will report directly to the Senior Manager: Client Liaison Office and forms part of the Member Service and Experience Division.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
 Support the Client Liaison Division in fulfilling its strategic and operational objectives;
 Support in the delivery of projects and initiatives in the CLO Division and across CMA;
 Collate and update CLO Stakeholder listing and database as well as communication elements on the SharePoint system;
 Maintain and manage the information system portal;
 Provide secretarial services for committees,/ committee meetings, includes development agendas, minutes and to-do lists for the different forums;
 Ensure documents and reports and presentations are prepared, set up prior meetings;
 Provide administrative support to the Client Liaison Division’s activities (CLO Division) and its sub structures, managing and overseeing the coordination of projects, processes and systems managing and maintaining information as well as procurement and logistical support;
 Consolidate reports from regions for Management Reporting and Executive Dashboard report management;
 Prepare documents required for Client Liaison Office (Division)(such as agendas, minutes and handouts, project status reports;
 Engage with the Finance division regarding purchases and orders, and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements;
 Support the regional offices in receiving promotional material and related information to enable service delivery.
