Senior Operational Branch Manager: Security Solutions
An opportunity to join the South African arm of a global company within the security solutions industry exists with our client in Gauteng. With a passion for client service they strive to integrate the latest security technology; intelligence and specialised manpower to tailor make security solutions to meet each customer’s needs.
This unique role will see you taking on all business management responsibilities for your own allocated portfolio of clients. A Business / Branch manager is responsible for all operational, administrative, commercial, HR and financial elements of the Branch s/he is allocated to. Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility: watching over turnover, costs and investments forms a critical element of the position as does ensuring a profitable and quality service is provided to client at all times.
With the support of a Junior Branch Manager as well as technical and specialised expertise in the broader business, you will be required to have a very hands on approach to managing, maintaining and growing your portfolio of clients, as well as the services offered to clients.

The role will suit a tenacious, emotionally mature individual with experience in all of the elements of business as indicated above, but with specific emphasis put on people management, P&L and operational factors. Experience within a client focussed and service/solutions based industry will be of benefit, while industrial relations knowledge and experience is essential. Your ability and confidence to attend board meetings and conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner will stand you in good stead.
The successful candidate must have strong business and leadership skills and an ability to communicate with staff and clients of all walks of life. You are business savvy with foresight and a realistic outlook. You are meticulous; results orientated and are able to work in a highly unionised and pressurised environment.
