We are looking for a suitable candidate with a good understanding of National Qualification Framework (NQF) process, adult education and principals with basic knowledge of business and procedures.

Job Description

To Ensurethat strategic training is provided.

Identify the company's training needs and develop programs to meet these needs. Ensure that acceptable training programs are implemented in accordance with the authorises Company's procedures/schedules and practices. Coordinates, facilitates  and administartes the company's e-Learning. Design traiing materials in an outcome based format and source appropriate traiing programs from external providers. Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of traiing on induviduals and departments or teams. Implement, facilitate , coordinate and develop on-the-job- traiing when needed. Facilitate in-house and external traiing designed to impart skills to emploees for promotional and productivity purposes.Ensure that traiing is facilitated when needed within the company. Constantly identify the needs for improvements in existing training and modify accordingly. Monitor training and based on the results, implement new approaches, techniques and programs. Compile strategic framework for skills aquisition programs to meet current and future company requirements. Ensure that training and development programs support is in line with HR and company strategies e.g. skills plan.Responcible for submissions of the work skills report/plan (WSP/ATR) to the Wholesale and Retail Seta annually.

To ensure that effiecient and apropriate traiing services is delivered.
Identify traing needs through leading and directing the training team. Identify skills gaps in terms of critical skills within the company. Develop training targets for identified skills gaps. Ensure the training supports the company's succession plan. Liaise with departmental mamagers to determine skills deficiencies and future training needs. Ensure that competency assessments are conducted on an on going basis. Ensure that individual training plans are audited.Identify appropriate and cost-effective training solutions to meet skills demands for the company. Compile and maintain database of service providers relating to training.

Ensure effective training administration services.
Manage training documentation and records. Ensure regular improvements on training and recording of updated information. Ensure that training materialsand instructions are facilitated effectively.Monthly reporting to the HR Manager regarding training activities.

Effective people management of training staff
Manage the training team, new recruits attending the induction trainng as well as the employees on the Development Training Program.

Minimal Requirements.

Grade 12

Relevant Training Qualification will be an advantage.

Minimal three years' experience in raining, facilitating, moderating and assessing.

Clean disciplinary record.

Computer literacy - Microsoft Office

Good time management skills

Good communication and negotiating skills.

Presentation and coaching skills.

Report writing skills.

Team player, peoples person, task orientated with excellent administrative skills.

Has had people reporting to them.

Experience in getting training material to be SETA accredited

Coordinate, compile and submissions of WSP and ATR (NOT ASSISTING)

SDF (Part of training forum)

Experience in facilitating any selling techniques
