Job Description    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has exciting opportunities in our Manufacturing Excellence Department (Central Office). We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Asset Management Consultant, which is based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing Development Manager.

Key Purpose:
The primary role of the Asset Management Consultant is to provide systemic and technical leadership for the overall asset management programmes in CCBSA in order to enable high long term plant/asset productivity, reliability and utilisation at the lowest cost.
Key Duties & Responsibilities    • Provide technical leadership and support to Regional execution teams in terms of asset management strategy, framework and technology to enable the implementation of business strategies to leverage equipment, productivity, reliability and maintainability, thereby enabling high plant availability and utilisation at lowest cost.
• Support and co-ordinate the development and deployment of the asset management strategy.
• Support and co-ordinate the development of maintenance budgets to support the objectives of the CCBSA asset management strategy.
• Benchmark maintenance spend to ensure productivity and alignment with best practice standards.
• Support the disciplined execution of standard work practices at both the regional and the divisional level.
• Is the process owner and subject matter expert for the SAP Planned maintenance module for CCBSA and CCBA.
• Coordinate a Community of Practice on SAP PM Development and utilisation for CCBSA and CCBA.
• Lead the country wide endeavours for asset management excellence.
• Provide specialist asset management support.
• Ensure that predictive maintenance techniques are implemented correctly.
• Implement asset management system audits to evaluate data integrity.
• Drive, develop and coordinate Manufacturing capability development programmes to support the needs of the CCBSA performance and improvement objectives, including:
o Technical Skill Development needs at frontline and management levels.
o The identification and development of new capabilities to support the performance and productivity plans of CCBSA.
• Support packaging performance improvement by conducting and leading performance optimisation initiatives.
• Define, maintain and improve packaging standards.
• Provide problem solving support to regional packaging when required
• Co-ordinate shared learning’s and the identification of best practices within CCBSA and CCBA where required
• Conduct asset management compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvement
• Support packaging skills development programs and capacity building Initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend/support regional capital expenditure requests.
Skills, Experience & Education    Qualifications:
• Diploma/BSc: Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

• Minimum of 8 years work experience with 3 to 5 years spent at management level in a operational or a technical role in an asset management environment.
• Previous line management experience an added advantage
• Deep understanding of Packaging Operations, processes and systems.
• Deep understanding of Asset Management and OEM Partnering.
• A good understanding of Supply Chain.
• Understanding of Project Management.
• Understanding of CCBA Asset Management standards and guidelines, including the Manufacturing Way.
• A reasonable understanding of Packaging Materials and Sundries.
• A good understanding of Safety, Health and Environment which includes Sustainable Development.
• A good understanding of CCBSA business processes which include financial management, performance management, talent management and IR.

• Highly developed analytical skills with excellent problem solving capability
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
• Continually strives for better world class systems and benchmarked methods and principles.
• Awareness of changes in manufacturing technology affecting world class manufacturing practices.
• Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices within the industry.
• Is able to apply the knowledge of manufacturing principles to the benefit of the company.
• Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the FMCG industry
• Ability to assess organisational systems to ensure support of strategic directive
• Ability to lead and influence ideas and people by articulating a compelling and inspired vision and motivating and mobilising individuals and parties towards this common goal.
• Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.
• Must be willing to travel regularly in South Africa and Africa.
