Job Description

To provide a professional reception and switchboard service to Absa staff, clients and service providers.

Duties & Responsibilities    
Prompt answering of the telephone within 3 rings
Take down all messages and deliver them promptly via e-mail or telephonically
Give correct and accurate office directions
Attend to visitors in a prompt, professional & friendly manner
Ensure general tidiness of the reception and front-line areas including interview rooms and boardrooms – site specific
Log call with the CRES Helpdesk for any maintenance issues in your environment
Develop good relationships with client staff and customers
Weekly / monthly visitors report

Must be able to multi-task

Must be punctual and reliable
Must be approachable
Must be self-motivated and team-oriented
Must be friendly, polite and helpful when dealing with customers
Must be able to work under pressure

Qualifications    
Matric Certificate
3 – 5 Years’ experience in front line reception
Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & E-mail & fluency in English
